Proposed Aids to Navigation. Ards Borough Council and Down District Council
have invited tenders for the supply and installation of Aids to Navigation on Strangford
Lough. The project is part-financed by the ‘European Agriculture Fund for Rural
Development: Europe Investing in Rural Areas’ under the Leader Programme for Northern Ireland.

The BBC is to broadcast two documentaries on Olympic Class sailing. (Adobe

Event Weekend
19th - 20th June - your help needed. The Drascombe cruise, the Wayfarer Irish Nationals and the Fireball Irish Championships
are being held over the two days with people arriving on Friday evening. Coffee and scones will be served on both mornings and there will be a BBQ on Saturday evening. This will be one the busiest weekend of the season both on and off the water so if you think you could lend a hand for a few hours sometime please contact Anne Molly or Pamela Woods - telephone numbers in Members hand book. | 04/06/2010. |

| Abandoned Property. To tidy up the club site and make better and safer use of the facilities the Executive Committee will be acting upon Club Rule 49(b). | New power sockets. (revised wording) The winch house sockets have been removed and new ones installed in the first boat house (close to the hose and convenient for power-washing). Additional sockets have also been installed adjacent to the water taps on either side of the yard. Members should note that there is a touch sensitive switch located above the sockets in the first boat-house. This is a timer switch and it activates all of the external power-points on site, allowing a maximum of two hours use - after which it is necessary to re-arm the touch switch. Electricity is provided free of charge to all members. |
