Strangford Lough Race Week - Biennial General Meeting
The Biennial General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 21st February 2012 at 19.30 at East Down Yacht Club. Notice of Meeting and Agenda (Adobe pdf 30kb).
All full members of all Clubs on the Lough are entitled to attend the BGM and have a vote. Any club representative wishing to submit a matter for discussion must submit it to the Honorary Secretary (Claire Stevenson <claire.stevenson@relay.ie> )not less than 28 days prior to the BGM. Visitors and previous race week entrants are welcome to attend.
The 2011 event was enjoyed by members of most of the clubs on the Lough and now
planning has started for the 2013 event. The SLRW committee would welcome any feedback on the 2011 event and any suggestions for 2013.
While some of the current committee members are putting their names forward for re-election, others have decided to step down.
It is important for the future of the event that there is a strong committee. Nomination papers are
available (Adobe pdf 35kb), and ideally the SLRW committee would like at least one representative from each club on the committee. However,
they are happy to have more than one representative from any of the clubs on the committee so if you are interested in being involved in the planning and running of the 2013 event, please put your name forward.
